Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a collision on the N71 in Roscarbery yesterday morning.
A man in his 60s was air lifted to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a bike and a car yesterday morning.
The incident happened at around 9am at Barleyhill East - on the road between Rosscarbery and Leap.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained for questioning at a Garda station in the Southern region.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward, and for anyone with camera footage for the area between 9 and 10am to make it footage available to Gardaí in Clonakilty.
