Human remains discovered under the floor of a house in Youghal have been transferred to Cork University Hospital for analysis and the results of a DNA test are expected tomorrow.
A man in his 50s arrested this morning on suspicion of murder remains in custody.
Speaking at a press briefing at Midleton Garda Station this evening, Superintendent Adrian Gamble gave this update:
