The operation was carried out by the Bantry drugs unit in Castletownbere yesterday evening
Shortly after 8pm a man in his 20s was searched and was found to be in possession the cocaine and a weighing scales.
No arrests have been made, however the investigation is ongoing and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
