Gardaí in the city have arrested a man following the seizure of more than 150,000 euro worth of drugs.
The Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit, based at Anglesea Street Garda Station, searched a premises at Griffin Street in Blackpool yesterday.
There they found an estimated 128,000 euro of cannabis, as well as cannabis resin, ecstasy and magic mushrooms.
The man in his 30s was arrested and is currently being detained at a Garda Station in the city.
During a follow-up operation, a premises on Gould Street near The Lough was searched and more cannabis, valued at roughly 30,000 euro was found.
All of the suspected drugs seized are to be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Investigations continue.
