The victims both tried to buy motorhomes from a website that said it was based in the UK and sent almost €15,000 each via bank transfer.
No arrests have been made and no further details are being released, however Gardaí say investigations into the two incidents in September are ongoing.
Crime prevention Officer Sergeant Brian McSweeney says people should use trusted sources when buying online and use sites you're familiar with or that have previously been used by family or friends.
He is also stressing that a deal that seems too good to be true probably is and says anyone who has been a victim of any type of online fraud should contact Gardaí immediately.
Gardaí say buyers should follow a number of 'golden rules' when making purchases online including checking the sellers reviews and ratings, saving all documents related to the purchase, using credit cards when purchasing online and never leaving your identity or card details behind if you don't buy anything.
