Gardai are investigating following a stabbing incident in the city last night.
Shortly after 7pm Gardai were alerted to the incident on Cornmarket Street, and in a statement to RedFM News Gardai say it's understood an 18 year old suffered a minor laceration in the course of an altercation with another youth.
He was taken from the scene brought to Cork University hospital for assessment.
Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.
