Gardaí are investigating a burglary which took place at a filling station in East Cork in the early hours of this morning.
The robbery happened at around 3am at a filling station in Burgess, near Killeagh and the area around the petrol station has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
A statement from Gardaí says:
"Gardaí are aware of an incident of burglary that occurred at a filling station in Killeagh, Co. Cork this morning, 20th August 2024 at approximately 3am.
A number of items were taken from the property.
No arrests have been made.
Investigations are ongoing."
