Gardaí responded to an incident in Douglas yesterday.
The assault happened at around 2.30pm on East Douglas Street.
A man in his 30's suffered non-life threatning injuries and Gardaí say they are investigating the incident.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Gardaí received a report of an incident of assault that occurred in the Douglas East area of Cork City on Wednesday 23rd April 2025.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:30pm. A male in his 30s suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing."
