Gardaí are investigating the theft of a guitar - which has been used by music legends - from a recording studio Baile Mhúirne.
The guitar is owned by Tadhg Kelleher of Sulán Studios, a studio where artists including Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour and Declan Sinnott, recorded.
The burglary is suspected to have taken place between the afternoon of May 11th and the early hours of Sunday, May 12th.
Security camera footage, which was taken across from the studio, is among the evidence being examined by the Gardaí.
Speaking to RedFM news, Tadhg says the guitar is irreplaceable:
It's like your personal thing, you know, a wedding ring or a photography of an occasion or something like that,. If you put the value of the guitar on the table in the kitchen, and that was stolen, you could cope with it, you can go out there and earn the money again, but with the guitar you can't replace it. You know they're all unique.
