Gardaí made one arrest at a protest in the city over the weekend.
Two separate rallies took place on Grand Parade on Saturday afternoon and in a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí say they arrested one man in his twenties.
In one protest many gathered to support Cork City Library workers and the Cork Says No to Racism Group.
In a separate rally, the group "Ireland Says No" gathered to object the availability of what they describe as "pornographic" LGBT+ books in Cork City Library.
Gardaí say they made only one arrest, and that no further incidents arose and the group dispersed peacefully.
