Officers from the West Cork Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of a house in the Inchigeela area at around 7:30pm yesterday.
They discovered a sophisticated grow house with a conveyor belt grow system, fans, lights and ventilation.
The plants were at various stages of growth and are worth around €14,800.
A further search of the house turned up €6,000 worth of cannabis herb.
No arrests have been made but Gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry.
