Officers from Gurranabraher carried out a search of a house in the Hollyhill area of the city yesterday at around 7:30pm.
They found drugs, €280 in cash, a weighing scales and plastic bags.
A man in his late teens were arrested at the scene.
He has since been released and a file will be prepared for the DPP
