GE Healthcare is to create 140 new jobs in a major expansion at their base in Carrigtohill.
The jobs are part of a new €30 million expansion at the facility.
The new production line in Carrigtohill will produce 30 million more doses of a contrast product that is used in CT and X-ray imaging by 2025.
The American healthcare giant has been operating in Cork for 30 years and already employs over 760 staff here.
Recruitment for the 140 new jobs is currently open for operatives, project managers, engineers, quality control personnel and facility management
The 18 billion dollar company employs around 48,000 globally and it's pharmaceutical diagnostics arms develops and produces pharmaceuticals used to support diagnosis, monitoring and treatment across Neurology, Cardiology and Oncology.
