Half Moon Street in the city is closed off after a burglary at a shop.
The incident happened late last night and the scene is closed off for a technical examination.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
In a statement to RedFM News, Gardaí said:
"Gardaí are investigating a burglary of a retail premises on Half Moon Street, Cork City which occurred late yesterday evening, Wednesday 28th January 2025.
The scene is currently held for technical examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
No further information is available at this time."
