The historic gardens at Annes Grove House near Castletownroche are open to the public this weekend for the first time since being donated to the state in 2015.
The historic estate, with 30 acres of gardens, was gifted to the people of Ireland by the Annesley family in December 2015.
Since then, the grounds have undergone a €2million euro first phase of an extensive restoration plan.
Annes Grove is now the second picturesque destination in that part of North Cork to be under the management of the Office of Public Works, as it is just a few miles from the Doneraile Park.
