A homeless charity is hoping to deliver 80 new social housing units in Cork in 2022.
The Echo reports that the Peter McVerry trust is aiming to deliver a number of turnkey properties by the end of this year across Cork city and county, while the Repair and Lease scheme will see them bring a number of vacant properties back into use.
The charity is to develop 9 one bedroom units in a building near its Cork office on North Main Street, while properties in Charleville and Bantry are also being obtained.
