Hospital overcrowding records were broken again in March.
That's according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's monthly figures round-up.
Almost 13,000 admitted patients were treated on trolleys this month, and over 440 of those were children.
The union says this was the worst March since it began counting, and overcrowding levels must not be allowed continue.
There are 69 patients on trolleys in CUH this afternoon, the second highest in the country and it comes just a week after the hospital hit a new high of 90 patients being treated on trolleys in the hospital's ED .
