Emergency services were called to a farm in the area at around 9:30 last night.
Gardaí say the man was aged in his 60s and died in an industrial accident
The man's body was removed to CUH where a post mortem will take place at a later date.
Garda Press say the coroner has been notified and enquiries are ongoing.
