Hundreds of people attended a walk this morning in memory of Aisling Murphy at the Atlantic Pond.
The walk left the Atlantic Pond at the Páirc Uí Chaoimh side and looped back along the Marina.
The killing of the 23 year old primary-school teacher from Offaly on Wednesday has shocked the nation and led to calls for more to be done to prevent gender based violence.
There will be a standout on Patrick Street at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
