The official commemoration was cancelled due to Covid-19.
The right wing National Party held an event at the monument in Béal Na Bláth on Saturday against Covid-19 restrictions, which they described as 'increasingly shambolic'.
The group also said Fine Gael were unworthy of laying claim to the legacy of the War of Independence General.
Right wing Síol na hÉireann, also gathered at the same spot yesterday to mark the anniversary.
