The Cork Life Centre board withdrew from the talks after a lack of progress over the issue of staff retention
Director of the Centre Don O'Leary says they were informed in May of last year that they would receive the funding it needs to be sustainable however it since emerged that the funding was not an income stream for the service
The Echo reports that centre will get through this year but in the long term they are in a serious precarious situation
