Hundreds of pupils were evacuated from Glasheen Boy's National School this morning after a fire.
Cork City Fire Brigade were alerted to the blaze just after half past 8 when an electricity cable caught on fire.
Staff of the primary school extinguished the blaze with a fire extinguisher shortly before ESB and fire crews arrived at the scene.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
