The action which is supported by the Cork Taxi Council will take place from 10am to midday and will see taxi drivers travelling in convoy from Mahon to the city centre.

They're also calling for NTA not to issue any more taxi licences and for drivers parking up their cars to be allowed to pause their insurance payments without losing their no claims bonus.
