A hybrid model of exams should be offered to Leaving Certificate students this year.
That's according to Sinn Fein's Donnchadh O Laoghaire, who says students should be given a choice between written exams and calculated grades.
Since schools have returned after Christmas, absences of up to 40% of children and staff have been reported as a result of self-isolation.
The Sinn Fein TD says that two thirds of Leaving Certificate students are in favour of the hybrid model and it is important that their voice is heard.

Donnchadh O Laoghaire, told RedFM News that clarity is needed as soon as possible.
