The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is to proceed with its plan to progress a new build development of its Cork centre, on the grounds of St. Finbarr’s Hospital.
The move is being supported by the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly and will see the replacement of the existing buildings on the campus at St Finbarr’s.
The proposed new build which will retain all existing service provision, has now been approved by the Department of Health to progress to the next stage.
