An incident which led to major disruption on the Cork to Dublin railway line earlier - has been dealt with.
However Irish Rail says significant delays are likely for a while as train services resume.
The major disruption to services into and out of Dublin Heuston is the result of a fatal incident on the line between Ballybrophy and Portlaoise.
Iarnród Éireann is advising anyone travelling to matches at Croke Park this afternoon to seek alternative methods of transport.
Irish Rail's Jane Cregan has the latest:
"The line has reopened at Portlaoise. Services are back operating between Houston and the south of the country. There are some residual delays as a result of trainsets being misplaced, so some delays are expected".
