That's the stark warning from Caithríona O'Neill from Cuanlee Refuge in the city.
Demand for services has almost tripled since the outbreak of Covid-19.
Speaking at the launch of the annual "16 Days of Action" campaign which aims to highlight gender-based violence, Caithríona says 2020 has been a very difficult year for some women and children.
She told RedFM News that this year has been their busiest on record:
"Our helpline calls have doubled, our outreach services actually tripled when compared to numbers from last year. A lot of women have said that they're even finding it very hard to reach out for support, because the partners are at home with them all the time, they can no longer go to appointments for support, or they can no longer pick up the phone for support and things like that as well so, I suppose, you know, tactics that their partner would have used to abuse them such as isolation has really increased this year and made it a lot harder for women, children to seek support."
