The Indiependence Festival is set to return next year.
The Echo report that the Mitchelstown festival will return with a three day event over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Reports last year suggested that the festival would move away from Mitchelstown, where it has been held annually since 2006, except for this year and last year when it was scrapped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However it's been confirmed that organisers have secured the Deer Park site once again for the festival's return in 2022.
