The International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament 2022 kicked off this evening in Musgrave Park.
The tournament is the culmination of 4 years of work and preparation with the EU, IRFU, Munster Rugby, Cork City Council, among others.
Over 4,000 people attended the opening ceremony, including visiting teams from more than 14 countries, such as Canada, Ecuador, Argentina and Chile.
More than 1,000 players, both with and without disabilities, from 28 teams and 14 different countries will compete.
The tournament continues all week until Friday 10th June.
