Gardai have launched an investigation after a woman fell from a height in the city centre this morning.
The alarm was raised around 8.30am and emergency services responded to the scene after the woman in her 30’s fell from a property on Meade Street, just off Sullivan's Quay.
She was rushed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital to be treated for her injuries which are described as multiple.
In a statement issued to RedFM News Gardai have confirmed that the woman’s are injuries are not life threatening but an investigation is continuing to ascertain the exact circumstances around the incident.
