An investigation has been launched after sections of footpaths have been dug up around Cork city.
A number of slabs and bricks were removed from four different locations over the weekend, and replaced with flowers and greenery.
Cork City Council says it has reported the damage to Gardaí and an investigation is underway.
Pictures online show the removed paving stacked neatly beside each area, with scattered flowers in its place.
