Ireland is being urged to continue the success of the smoking ban, by totally outlawing vapes.
It's 20 years today since smoking became illegal in pubs, restaurants and workplaces across Ireland.
Since then many countries around the world have implemented bans, something which has saved millions of lives globally.
Now a letter's been written the Health and Environment Minister's urging them to progress that legacy.
Dublin Fianna Fail MEP Barry Andrews says they have an opportunity to take action to protect future generations.
"This is the 20 year anniversary of the smoking ban and I think a lot of other European countries and Australia and New Zealand have already banned disposable vapes. I think it's the right thing for us to do, there's nothing to stop us from doing it. There are other European countries that have done and I think we should lead the way on this just as we did on the smoking ban 20 years ago"
