An Irish Cancer Society seminar aimed at men who have had a cancer diagnosis will take place on this month in Cork.
‘Life After Cancer: Breaking the Taboo for Men’ will be on in St. Peter's Church on 25th November from 5.45pm - 7pm, and will also be available to join online.
It aims to support men through cancer and life after cancer by giving them tools to cope before, during and after treatment.
A panel discussion including prostate cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Anita Cahill and Consultant Medical Oncologist Jack Gleeson will also take place and there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.
The event is free but registration is required to book a ticket to attend or join online.
The event is being hosted by the Irish Cancer Society’s Research Team and the Irish Cancer Society-funded Liam Mc Trial, which launched in Cork earlier this year.
