Irish men are being urged to re-think their drinking.
Alcohol is a factor in the deaths of 1 in 4 young men aged 15-39 each year, and is also linked to 670 cancer diagnosis here annually.
There's also evidence that men are far more likely than women to engage in risk-taking behaviour after drinking alcohol.
The issue's being highlighted for Men's Health Week.
Dr Bobby Smyth, from Alcohol Action Ireland, says attitudes are slowly starting to change.
