Irish Water say an alternative water supply in Churchtown North and Ballintotis will be available from midday today.
It comes as strike action has delayed repair works but Uisce Éireann say normal water supply will be back tomorrow.
Drinking water will be available from Leary and O’Mahoney’s Garage, Ballintotis Church and Two Mile Inn from 12 o clock today.
Meanwhile.. There's a risk today of further boil water notices imposed by Uisce Éireann.
It's due to day two of strike action from water service workers who are members of Unite.
They want to be able to retain their public service status.
Uisce Éireann's Head of Water, Margaret Attridge, outlines the areas expected to be hit by supply issues today:
"Unite gives strike action in nine local authorities however, it's the Watford Tipperary and Cork areas that are most at risk at this stage".
