Irish Water and the County Council have announced a major upgrade to water infrastructure in Kilpatrick and Ballyclough.
Nearly 4km of leak-prone watermains are to replaced as part of Irish Water's 'National Leakage Reduction Programme'.
The project is set to begin in mid-August and be completed by late October.
Several road closures along stretches of the watermains will be needed during that period - but diversions will be signposted.
