Due to their location on the water network, Irish Water customers in the Fountainstown and Myrtleville areas are still waiting for their water supply to be restored.
The unplanned outage was caused by a burst on the network and an issue at the pumping station on Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
The alternative water supply is currently being moved and is available in the vicinity of the car park in Fountainstown. Engineers continue to monitor the network in both Fountainstown and Myrtleville.
