Irish Water has lifted the Boil Water Notice on Whiddy Island with immediate effect.
Remedial works have been completed and subsequent water test results were satisfactory meaning that the Notice is no longer needed.
A Do Not Consumer Notice was initially put in place on the 7th September last year.
