The ISPCC says holiday school times can lead to more conflict at home

The Childline service is experiencing a dramatic rise in demand for it's service this Easter

The lack of structure when children are off school, which may leave some at a loose end, can lead to increased pressure at home

Regional services manager at ISPCC South Aoife Griffin told RedFM News holiday periods can be very stressful for some young people

"Always around this time I suppose it's a time when there can be quite a lot of calls from young people who are experiencing anxiety, stress, and in general issues within the home and things that might arise when you have any kind of a period of a holiday time"

The Childline Breakfast is running next month and the ISPCC is calling on families, creches, schools, clubs and workplaces in Cork to join St Patrick’s Preschool & Afterschool Care Service in Cork city, Scoil Mhuire in Kanturk and Ballincollig Early Years Preschool and host their very own Childline Breakfast in May
