Over the weekend many Oasis fans' had their dreams of seeing them squashed by Ticketmaster's anti bot systems and by dynamic pricing.

Tickets for Croke Park started at 86 euro 50 cent plus booking fees but some ended up paying more than 400 euro per ticket.

Tech Correspondent Jess Kelly says Ticketmaster isn't the only site that uses this technique:

"The dynamic pricing is something that has happened across the board in different areas over the last number of years. If in the last number of months you’ve tried to book a taxi on FreeNow or Uber or any of those apps you may now notice there is a high demand fee. So there’s an extra fee- say after the Coldplay gig last night if you were there and you tried to get a taxi- you may have noticed this high demand fee."
