Jenny Green says she's looking forward to being back in Cork this summer as she joins The RTÉ Concert Orchestra for the Live at the Marquee summer series of gigs.
Jenny, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous DJ set ever, is no stranger to Cork audiences having headlined shows at the Marquee, Cork Opera House and Indiependence.
This year's Live at the Marquee will be a cashless event, and kicks off on the 2th May when Joanne McNally and Vogue Williams bring their chart topping podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, live to Cork.
Jenny Greene and the RTE Concert Orchestra take to the stage on the 23rd June 23rd and Jenny told RedFM News what makes the Cork audience so special:
"Before you're even gone on, there's tops off and people are losing their minds. They start in the afternoon and they just go for it. And I think that's the beauty of Cork, and that's why you'll never match it anywhere else. And that's what makes our gig - our gig is only as good as Cork and they never let us down".
