The Justice Minister says 'no stone will be left unturned' as Gardaí re-examine the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
It's hoped new forensic technology will be successful in identifying the DNA of the person responsible for Sophie’s death, which took place in West Cork more than two decades ago.
Helen McEntee says every effort will be made to track down the killer:
"No stone will be left unturned. No Cold Case is opened with any intention other than to try and ascertain new evidence to try and make sure that justice is served, and in this instance to make sure that the person who murdered Sophie Toscan du Plantier is brought to justice. So major efforts will be put behind this and the commissioner has assured me that himself."
