The majority of KBC branches will close later today.
The bank says 11 of its hubs around the country including it's two branches in Cork at Lapps Quay and Wilton Shopping Centre will close from 5 o'clock this evening.
75 staff will made redundant as a result of the closures.
KBC says around 20-thousand customers have yet to move their current accounts to a new banking provider.
