Kellie Harrington says she will retire from boxing after defending her Olympic crown.
The Dubliner claimed her second gold medal last night, making her the first Irish female athlete to win consecutive golds.
Taoiseach Simon Harris has described her as 'a legend', while President Higgins says Kellie is a 'phenomenal sportsperson'.
Speaking after the fight the 34 year old says she now wants to get on with the rest of her life:
"I'm done now. The next chapter is going to be my life chapter. And who knows what that's going to be, but I can't wait. I just can't wait to just live my life."
