Iarnród Éireann has rejected claims that workers around Kent Station are using their car park facilities as commuters complain it is regularly at capacity
It costs just €8.50 to park for 24 hours leading to suggestions that the facility may be used by people who aren't even taking the train
However management at the station say the car park is full three days a week before 7am by commuters who are taking the early train to Dublin
Jane Cregan from Iarnód Éireann told RedFM News, despite the demand for the car park there are no plans to extend parking provisions at the station
"Again it's something we will investigate, but from speaking to my colleagues on the ground, they said that, really, before the seven o'clock train that it's full. So it's not a case of people coming in to go to work at 9am or people going into the shops later in the day because we're full now kind of before 7am"
