Kinsale business are frustrated because changes to the town's Bus Éireann service mean passengers can't bring luggage or bicycles with them.
The 226 bus route connects Kinsale via Cork Airport to Kent Station in the city.
Unlike the older coaches previously used on the route, new buses don't have underfloor storage and can't accommodate bicycles.
The new buses are lower to the ground and were introduced to facilitate wheelchair users easily, however this has resulted in a dramatic drop in storage capacity.
Kinsale businesses say the changes are causing particular difficulties for tourists - as they can be left waiting for several hours for one of the older-type busses to arrive to transport both them and their luggage.
