The landmark Roches Stores building on Patrick Street in the city centre looks set come under new ownership soon.
The Echo is reporting today that a deal for 12 million euro is expected to be finalised by the end of April.
With a footprint of 1.32acres, the store originally has a price tag of 20 million euro - but failed to attract buyers.
The building has been lying idle since Debenhams suddenly shut their doors for good at the start of the Covid pandemic - over three years ago.
