Incoming college students who decide to appeal their Leaving Cert grades, are unlikely to receive their new results in time to start their course.
That's according to a career guidance teacher, who expects CAO points to increase this year and more appeals to be lodged.
Sixth years will receive their results next Friday and will be offered their course place the following Wednesday, weeks later than in previous years.
