Local communities across the city and county have been awarded a quarter of a million euro in heritage funding.
The Heritage Council announced over 247,000 euro worth of funding for community projects, which all must be completed by the end of the year.
Examples of grant recipients include The Cork Folklore Project Group, The Cork Gay Project and Cork Traveller Women's Network.
Hundreds of local communities throughout the country are to receive money.
