A lock of Michael Collins' hair will be up for auction at a War of Independence Sale tomorrow.
The legendary IRA commander was killed in August 1922 when his convoy was ambushed at Beal Na Blath.
Also going under the hammer is a walking stick owned by Collins and the gun he was said to be carrying when he was part of a team that helped Eamon De Valera escape from an jail in England in 1919.
The items are being auctioned by Bloomfield Auctions who say they are extremely confident about the provenance of the items.
